About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with a cross-functional team to plan and develop new features for the MoneyLion mobile app
Gather business requirements and suggest appropriate technical solutions
Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
Support the QA team with testing and debugging
Troubleshoot and debug issues in the app
Continuously improve code to optimize feature performance
Stay up to date with the latest design patterns and share knowledge with the team
Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to ensure a holistic user experience and maintain a solid platform foundation

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience building mobile applications using React Native or native technologies
Experience building NodeJS applications (server-side)
Experience with JavaScript
TypeScript experience is a plus
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Familiarity with software product design lifecycles
Familiarity with Functional Programming is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a good problem-solving attitude
Ability to perform in a team environment
BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
