About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide multi-disciplined security support to the customer's facility and organization
  • Support day-to-day Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities
  • Review inbound and outbound correspondence for classification
  • Maintain document accountability databases and correspondence
  • Process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, receipts, and data transfer files
  • Perform destruction and reproduction of classified materials
  • Process magnetic media for accountability
  • Maintain daily logs and customer point-of-contact databases
  • Research, process, file, and maintain visit notices
  • Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs
  • Assist with facility access badges and access control systems
  • Conduct entry and exit inspections
  • Perform data entry in personnel access and security databases
  • Maintain personnel security files and sponsored billets/quota information
  • Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support security awareness and education programs
  • Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities
  • Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections
  • Implement Top Secret Control for accountable material
  • Prepare, process, and review Program Access Requests
  • Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires
  • Conduct DCII, JPAS, and SAPNP reviews of candidates for SAP access
  • Perform AFADS data entry and record checks
  • Conduct indoctrinations
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative support as directed by the contractor site lead or Senior Security Representative

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of SAP experience required
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Familiarity with security policy/manuals and appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documents
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact effectively with DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility, potentially extensively by air and ground transportation
  • Bachelor's degree is desired
  • Bachelor's degree may count as four years of experience
  • Associate's degree in a related area may count as two years of experience
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may count toward one year of experience
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) may count toward one year of experience
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than three years
