About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization
- Support Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities on a day-to-day basis
- Review inbound and outbound correspondence for classification
- Maintain document accountability databases and correspondence
- Process classified mail, faxes, courier packages, receipts, and magnetic media
- Destroy and reproduce classified materials
- Maintain administrative logs and customer point-of-contact databases
- Process inbound data and outbound data transfer files
- Research, process, file, and maintain visit notices
- Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs
- Prepare facility access-control badges and conduct entry and exit inspections
- Maintain facility access-control entry systems and visitor control
- Perform data entry in personnel access security systems and maintain billet, quota, and personnel access information
- Maintain personnel security files
- Follow and enforce customer Standard Operating Procedures
- Support security awareness and education programs
- Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities
- Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections
- Implement Top Secret Control for accountable material and correspondence
- Prepare, process, and review Program Access Requests for accuracy and access eligibility
- Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process questionnaires
- Conduct DCII, JPAS, and SAPNP reviews of SAP-access candidates
- Perform AFADS data entry and record checks
- Conduct indoctrinations
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support as directed by the site lead or Senior Security Representative
Requirements
What you’ll need- Top Secret/SCI clearance currently required
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
- 5+ years of related experience
- 2+ years of SAP experience required
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals, DCIDs/JAFANs, and other guiding policy documents
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact effectively with DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
- Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic AOR, potentially extensively, by air and ground transportation
- Bachelor’s degree desired; counts as four years of experience
- Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- US citizenship required
