About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and facilitate day-to-day Safety and Compliance Committee operations
  • Maintain accurate committee membership records, including roles, appointments, affiliations, contact information, and training status
  • Execute appointment and onboarding processes for new committee members
  • Track annual orientation and training completion
  • Maintain and monitor Conflict of Interest tracking records
  • Collaborate with HRSA, OPTN contractors, and internal teams
  • Implement appointment and roster standard operating procedures
  • Coordinate roster updates and submit related documentation within required timeframes
  • Support SOP updates based on internal feedback or COR requests
  • Facilitate access to HRSA-approved Subject Matter Experts
  • Select, maintain, and rapidly deploy SMEs for site visits, incident reviews, and committee functions
  • Track and document SME involvement, expertise, hours, request sources, and deliverables
  • Provide committee records, trackers, dashboards, and SOP documentation to the COR and stakeholders
  • Prepare transparent reports and deliverables on membership, training, and COI activities
  • Notify the COR of committee membership changes within one business day
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings and member communications
  • Ensure contractor support procedures align with the approved OPTN Patient Safety and Compliance Operations Plan

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, public policy, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in policy compliance, operational coordination, healthcare processes, or committee/board management
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, managing workflows, and coordinating among multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance standards, or governance processes preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data tracking systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, government stakeholders, and committee members
  • US citizenship is not required
  • NACI (T1) public trust requirement
