Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build strategic partnerships between recruiting, GDIT Centers of Excellence, and business leaders
  • Provide a high-touch, candidate-centric experience throughout the hiring process
  • Nurture long-term relationships with candidates who may not be hired immediately
  • Develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies with hiring managers
  • Provide consultative hiring strategy, collaboration, and solutions for assigned business areas
  • Utilize AI-driven tools to streamline and enhance hiring
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation Analysts, Recruiters, Legal, and other stakeholders
  • Research recruitment trends and recommend ways to optimize and integrate them into daily practice
  • Manage key metrics to ensure goals are met or exceeded
  • Build talent pipelines for business development, capture management, solution architecture, finance, contracts, subcontracts, and proposal roles
  • Consult with hiring managers regarding position duties, education, training, certifications, experience, and security requirements
  • Pre-screen external and internal candidates by telephone or video and refer qualified applicants to hiring managers
  • Coordinate and participate in final-candidate selection
  • Ensure compensation offers are competitive, internally equitable, and affordable
  • Perform compensation analysis and evaluate offers with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and Compensation Analysts
  • Extend approved offers
  • Maintain GDIT’s applicant tracking system and complete applicant records
  • Ensure applicant dispositioning follows OFCCP guidelines
  • Appropriately disposition and contact internal candidates
  • Complete interview reports accurately

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 14+ years of recruiting experience with a high school diploma OR 10+ years of recruiting experience with a bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of current experience recruiting for a systems integrator
  • Proficiency in web-based applicant tracking systems such as Workday
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as GEM and other recruitment tools
  • Demonstrated experience with requisition hygiene, candidate workflow, dispositioning, and EEOC/OFCCP compliance
  • Ability to provide staffing-status reporting and analytics to management and hiring managers
  • Full life-cycle recruiting experience for technical or key personnel positions
  • Experience serving as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders using insights and data
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards
  • Demonstrated success working in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly changing environment
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • No security clearance required
  • US citizenship not required
