About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enter, clean, and analyze human performance data collected through program initiatives
- Apply advanced analytical skills to optimize the readiness, resiliency, and performance of Special Operations Forces personnel
- Work directly with SOF human performance staff, prioritizing SOF Operators and Direct Combat Support personnel
- Evaluate physical, psychological, cognitive, and social performance indicators
- Collaborate with performance teams and the Government biostatistician
- Provide subject matter expertise in program evaluation, research methodologies, and applied performance analytics
- Partner with strength coaches, dietitians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, psychologists, and cognitive specialists
- Identify data collection opportunities supporting operational readiness and force preservation
- Support development of performance dashboards, readiness trends, return-to-duty outcomes, and longitudinal monitoring products
- Prepare reports and presentations communicating performance trends, risk indicators, and program impact to leadership
- Use Government systems for human performance data entry, management, and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Top Secret clearance currently possessed
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in quantitative science, social science or related discipline
- At least 3 years of research experience in academic, social services, government, healthcare or laboratory settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or R
- Prior work in performance research, sport science, military human performance programs, or similar continuous data collection and evaluation environments
- Record of scientific publications or applied human performance research
- At least 3 years of experience working in human performance, government, healthcare, or research settings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities
- Less than 10% travel required
