About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build strategy for the endpoint environment based on CIO roadmaps, emerging technology, technical solutions, software, and hardware
- Maintain DISA-approved WIM and Secure Host Baseline (SHB), including testing and transferring to appropriate enclaves
- Download, package, and deploy Windows and Office Security Updates
- Develop, implement, and document formal configuration guides
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Microsoft Active Directory for end-user devices
- Implement STIG and other device and account controls
- Develop, test, and deploy desktop images including applications and GPO updates
- Deploy and update approved packaged applications using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
- Develop technical support documentation for IT equipment and systems
- Support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA as part of a desktop engineering team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI and Polygraph
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience
- Detailed knowledge of end user computing environments including Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OSX, Active Directory, group policy creation and maintenance, and SCCM
- Experience deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise solutions for Windows 10 and 11
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi and vSphere
- 6+ years of related experience
