About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze programs supporting federal staff overseeing provider-facility compliance
  • Coordinate, schedule, and document facility inspections and assessments
  • Maintain organized records of inspection artifacts and communications
  • Review inspection documentation and technical materials for alignment with building codes, life safety codes, licensing standards, and industry requirements
  • Track, monitor, and document corrective actions and closure evidence
  • Prepare technical summaries, monitoring reports, and briefing materials
  • Analyze monitoring outputs to identify trends, recurring compliance issues, and operational risks
  • Propose data-informed recommendations for improvement to federal staff
  • Maintain records of notes, tools, trackers, communications, and monitoring artifacts in designated repositories such as SharePoint
  • Provide technical guidance and compliance support related to care provider facilities, safety, and physical plant operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree in Facilities Management, Public Administration, or a related field
  • 4 years of related work experience
  • Experience evaluating physical facilities and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, against federal, state, and local requirements and legal codes
  • Facilities management or building inspection experience
  • Familiarity with permits, inspection reports, compliance assessments, and service and maintenance records
  • Prior life safety standards or emergency preparedness experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct frequent travel, including trips to designated sites up to 25% of the time
  • Existing MBI T2 Public Trust or ability to obtain one
  • Skills in building codes, building inspections, facility management, life safety code, and regulatory compliance
  • No US citizenship required
