About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on an Agile Scrum development team developing and maintaining agency-wide Platform as a Service capability across multiple security domains
Operate and maintain existing Red Hat OpenShift environments across cloud and vSphere datacenter environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack data services
Compile detailed documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Top Secret/SCI clearance currently required
Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph
U.S. citizenship required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of related experience
5–8 years of developer experience
Meet DoW 8570 IAT Level II requirements with one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
Experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud and/or vSphere environments
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Python, Shell scripting, and Git
Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS and CentOS
CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI and Jenkins
Container technology: Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem
