About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform network engineering supporting IT infrastructure, including fiber-optic systems, government networks, private 5G, expeditionary environments, and Low-SWAP technologies
  • Integrate infrastructure capabilities into unified solutions
  • Collaborate with leads across 5G, cybersecurity, and fiber/network domains to design cohesive platforms
  • Adhere to established standards, processes, and policies
  • Provide architecture, engineering, and security support for IT infrastructure and mission IT systems
  • Support installation, configuration, administration, operations and maintenance, documentation, and engineering activities for network services
  • Maintain and support switches, routers, firewalls, and telecommunications equipment
  • Manage configurations using configuration management systems
  • Oversee network architecture, integration strategy, interoperability planning, technical risk management, validation methodologies, and operational readiness
  • Review engineering deliverables and approve implementation standards
  • Support issue escalation and resolution
  • Coordinate technical engagement with Government stakeholders and vendor teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 15+ years of network engineering experience with emphasis on 5G technologies and understanding of the described duties
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Secret Clearance
  • Secret clearance must currently be possessed and must be able to be obtained
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Skills in 5G Wireless Networks, Network Development, and Network Management
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport
  • Ability to travel 25% to 50%
