About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead overall contract operations and program management for the Naval Forces Logistics contract
  • Serve as primary point of contact to the Government Program Manager, COR/ACOR, and command technical assistants
  • Administer program activities, financials, reporting, MCTMR, and MFSR submissions
  • Lead geographically dispersed logistics, AIS, training, financial, database, and subcontractor teams
  • Establish organizational authority, assign work, maintain timekeeping, and ensure operational continuity
  • Manage subcontractor performance, time, expenses, and coordination
  • Track labor, travel, ODC execution, burn rates, funding, and forecasts
  • Develop project-management best practices, tools, success criteria, and stakeholder expectations
  • Manage scope changes, risks, issues, and problem resolution across logistics, AIS, database, financial, training, system administration, and user-access tasks
  • Lead program reviews, status reporting, meeting minutes, and action-item tracking
  • Manage workforce, labor mix, vacancies, training, clearances, CAC/base access, and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, including ship embarkation and expeditionary-unit visits
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline, or permitted education equivalency
  • At least six years of Program Management experience supervising work with a minimum of two levels of subordinate supervisors
  • At least four years combining Navy logistics and AIS operations experience with senior-level management of a highly technical workforce
  • Working knowledge of Navy logistics, Naval Operational Forces supply and maintenance, and logistics AISs
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, eight additional years for a total of fourteen years of senior-level Program Management experience in Navy logistics management and AIS operations may be substituted
  • Ability to work onsite at government facilities within local core hours
  • Ability to maintain required training and currency requirements
  • SECRET clearances, CAC/base access, and compliance with security, information assurance, and identification requirements
