About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support CCMD staff participating in the Joint Planning Process (JPP)
  • Advise operators on leveraging informational power to gain and maintain an information advantage
  • Develop integrated PSYOP and supporting activities into CCPs, contingency plans, crisis plans, theater campaign orders, and ongoing operations
  • Assist joint planners in leveraging how information impacts the operational information environment
  • Analyze operational environments to identify key target audiences and assess beliefs, values, and motivations
  • Collaborate with analysts to develop persuasive and culturally appropriate messaging aligned with strategic objectives
  • Develop PSYOP campaign plans, including timelines, taskings, and measures of effectiveness
  • Collaborate with CCMDs, intelligence analysts, and operational units to synchronize messaging and actions
  • Develop and execute digital communication strategies to influence target audiences online
  • Coordinate with adjacent staff sections to ensure consistent messaging
  • May lead teams of analysts and oversee day-to-day tasking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience developing PSYOP plans and programs at the brigade level or higher
  • Bachelor's Degree required; significant specialized experience may be substituted in lieu
  • Top Secret/SCI eligibility required
  • US Citizenship required
  • Completion of PSYOP qualification, Joint IO Planning, or IO Integration courses required
  • Deep understanding of online communication platforms
  • Expertise in digital marketing
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of foreign cultures
  • Awareness of legal and ethical considerations for online information operations
  • Leadership, operations, and planning skills
