Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with analysts and functional experts to clarify requirements and validate business needs
- Develop business rules and write efficient, secure code using SAP ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and supporting SAP technologies
- Deliver clean-core enhancements maintaining automation, data integrity, and user satisfaction
- Perform unit testing to ensure solutions function as designed
- Resolve defects to align solutions with documented requirements
- Conduct peer reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
- Support a critical federal financial solution for the Department of Homeland Security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 7+ years of SAP development or ERP-related experience
- Technical skills: SAP ABAP
- Good communication skills
- Logic and Reasoning skills
- Public Trust Background Investigation Required
- US citizenship required
- Familiarity with CBP SAP Solution (preferred)
- SAP Fiori/UI5, OData services, and supporting SAP technologies (preferred)
- SAP Certification (preferred)
