About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the overall transition from ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including project scope, schedule, resources, and budget
Coordinate cross-functional teams delivering modernization activities
Guide solution design and project decisions supporting clean-core principles, automation, and data integrity
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and impacts throughout the migration
Maintain project plans, roadmaps, and timelines
Oversee readiness assessments, fit-gap analyses, and process improvement opportunities
Manage stakeholder communications regarding progress, issues, and decisions
Support data migration planning, validation, and cutover execution
Oversee testing cycles and defect resolution
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security standards, and federal financial compliance
Support organizational change management, training, and user readiness
Lead cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization
Help ensure the modernized system improves automation, accuracy, transparency, and mission effectiveness
Support the Department of Homeland Security mission by transitioning its enterprise SAP environment to SAP S/4HANA

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or higher
10+ years of SAP-related experience
SAP Functional expertise
Project management experience
Experience with SAP S/4HANA in the Federal Market
Stakeholder Management experience
Experience with complex SAP programs
Use of Agile Methodologies
Good communication skills
Logic and Reasoning skills
US citizenship required
Public Trust Background Investigation required
Some travel required to client site
Less than 10% travel
Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement
BI Full 6C (T4) public trust/other requirement
