About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and improve build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools
Automate and optimize service deployments across development, test, and production systems
Integrate with enterprise authentication services
Maintain and improve infrastructure, including autoscaling, new services, cost efficiencies, authentication, and search
Manage and aggregate server logs
Monitor security and system-related incidents
Monitor and analyze system performance, including server load and resource usage
Apply configuration management for software revisions, security patches, hardening, and documentation
Enforce security and reliability best practices
Drive security initiatives, including access control and vulnerability testing
Work with A&A teams to maintain system security requirements
Follow up on engineering tasks and validate completion
Participate in SAFe and Scrum development teams and meetings
Provide required on-call support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Top Secret/SCI clearance currently required
Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance
U.S. citizenship required
8+ years of relevant experience
AWS serverless infrastructure experience
Willingness to learn cross-domain services available at the customer agency
Working understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Bash
Multi-platform integration across AWS, GitLab, OpenShift, Nexus, and Self Service
Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes
Understanding of GitLab or other DevSecOps/Continuous Integration tools
Knowledge of network technologies, infrastructure components, load balancers, firewalls, and virtual and physical infrastructure design
Background as a system administrator
Understanding of cross-domain engineering
Understanding of AWS Diode
Understanding of access management and security groups, including IAM, S3 buckets, SSH, and VPN
Ability to write and use unit and functional tests
Experience using Jira and Confluence
Strong written and oral communication
Customer engagement ability
