About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the United States Postal Service (USPS)
- Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects
- Develop data-driven solutions to complex business challenges
- Use advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and discover insights in data
- Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques
- Use predictive modeling to improve customer experience, efficiencies, processes, and business outcomes
- Work with organizational stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data for business solutions
- Develop processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Coach and review the work of less experienced professionals
- Serve as a team or task lead when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant experience reviewing and interpreting application data
- 2+ years of experience utilizing AI
- Experience developing processes and machine learning-based tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Experience developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges
- Ability to use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experience, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes
- Ability to utilize advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in data
- Experience evaluating programs, disseminating findings, consulting and collaborating with others, and adhering to ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline preferred but not required
- If lacking a relevant college degree, 4 additional years of relevant work experience required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Successful completion of a thorough Government background screening process, including detailed forms and fingerprinting
- U.S. residency requirement: selected candidates must have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territories for the last five years under the stated USPS criteria
- U.S. Citizenship is not required
- Less than 10% travel required
- 40 scheduled weekly hours
