About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and enhance Portal-related web applications providing single sign-on functionality
  • Integrate micro-services supporting CDMRP workflows
  • Participate in the full application lifecycle, from requirements elicitation through front-end and back-end development
  • Develop responsive, highly functional web applications
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Portal team, System Administrators, and IM/IT/IA staff
  • Apply UX best practices to identify and resolve user pain points
  • Troubleshoot UI issues, optimize performance, fix defects, and modernize legacy applications
  • Ensure compliance with STIG and DoD IM/IT security procedures
  • Build reusable code, templates, modules, artifacts, and libraries
  • Document RESTful API web services
  • Support team training and knowledge sharing
  • Provide subject matter expertise on business system maintenance, development, system design, process flows, and architectural documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS or equivalent + 4 years related experience
  • 5 years of experience on a software development team
  • Minimum 2 years of full-stack web application experience
  • Java (JDK+)
  • JavaScript (jQuery, React)
  • PostgreSQL/RDBMS
  • MVVM/MVC
  • Object-oriented programming
