About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, build, and support multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Serve as an Okta/Identity subject matter expert for GDIT Emerge Labs
- Oversee certificate infrastructure and DNS
- Deploy and manage AWS multi-tenant account structures, including networking, identity, governance, and security controls
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code deployments
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for Emerge Labs customers
- Ensure cloud services and deployments are delivered, validated, documented, and functioning as expected
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements, track progress, resolve issues, and confirm successful delivery
- Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 10+ years of related experience
- Proven experience deploying and managing AWS multi-tenant environments using IaC such as Terraform and/or Ansible/YAML
- Proven experience with complex Okta/Identity federation solutions; Okta workflow automation experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience deploying Certificate Authority and managing DNS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft AD Server and Linux operating systems
- Strong cloud networking background, including Zscaler, routing, VPCs, security groups, and Route53
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance
- US citizenship required
- Ability to work onsite in Falls Church, VA, or remotely with regular travel
- Availability for 10%-25% regular travel
