About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead programs and drive strategic initiatives across GDIT’s federal civilian agencies, with emphasis on the Law Enforcement business area
  • Initiate new business pursuits involving the FBI, DOJ, U.S. Courts, DEA, and other federal government agencies
  • Provide government agency subject matter expertise and operational/investigative technology knowledge
  • Execute tactical business development efforts and support RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes
  • Provide post-award implementation support for client transitions from contract win to operational success
  • Interface with client leadership to align GDIT capabilities with mission needs
  • Review white papers, solutions, proposals, and other documents
  • Lead new business development from opportunity identification through post-submission capture activities
  • Participate in capture and growth activities as the voice of the customer
  • Manage technical, financial, and business development tasks in assigned program areas
  • Supervise technical and administrative staff and perform hiring and performance evaluations
  • Manage program profitability and revenue growth
  • Assure quality of program products, services, and deliverables
  • Perform financial analysis, budgeting, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and administer subcontractor deliverables and finances
  • Prepare reports and technical reviews for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and government policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 15+ years of progressive Federal Law Enforcement operational and leadership experience
  • Experience and expertise with DEA and other law enforcement information technology services
  • Strong strategic development and implementation experience
  • Experience with federal proposal processes, delivery, and execution
  • Understanding of and experience with the federal government budget and procurement process
  • Must be eligible to obtain Top Secret level Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship required
  • Less than 10% travel required
