About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and define system architecture and system design documentation for new or existing computer systems
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities
- Guide users in formulating requirements and advise on alternative approaches
- Conduct feasibility studies
- Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
- Guide system development and implementation planning through system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
- Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations, problems, issues, and conflicts
- Ensure technical integrity of work performed and Systems Engineering deliverables
- Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
- Engineer SharePoint solutions integrating SharePoint services with load-balancing systems
- Enhance existing technologies and provide a roadmap for future customer infrastructure
- Support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, Maryland or Sterling, Virginia
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline plus 8 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
- 8+ years of related experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience increasing the scope of SharePoint indexing to external sources and improving search-result relevance
- Experience managing SharePoint Online
- Experience managing SharePoint on-premises infrastructure and applications
- Experience implementing SharePoint security and access controls
- Knowledge of RBAC, MFA, and DLP policies
- Strong knowledge of PowerApps and Power Automate
- Experience creating and customizing SharePoint solutions, including web parts, workflows, and content management features
- Experience with back-end programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Perl, Ruby, or C++
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and advanced troubleshooting tasks
- Microsoft Azure Administrator certification, such as AZ-104, or equivalent
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles for user-friendly SharePoint solutions
