About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Air and Space Forces sector as the subcontracts lead
Provide subject matter expertise throughout the subcontract lifecycle
Manage NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related agreements
Participate in capture processes, including pricing and scheduling strategy and color team reviews
Review and interpret government solicitation requirements
Coordinate communications and status updates for senior leadership
Monitor proposal and sector-program compliance
Develop and deliver procurement training as needed
Monitor subcontract activities and identify/report fraud or misrepresentation
Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance with government procurement laws
Review requests for proposals and prepare proposals
Advise senior leadership, staff, and operational managers on subcontracts
Conduct fair and reasonable determinations and cost/price analyses
Review subcontract terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency
Prepare status reports and brief senior leadership
Assist with procedural changes
Lead resolution of subcontract-related problems
Forecast and manage the subcontracts pipeline and proposal opportunities
Brief sector managers and senior leadership throughout the proposal lifecycle
Participate in special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of degree, 9+ years of subcontracts administration experience required
5+ years of subcontracts administration experience
Microsoft Office Suite
Previous leadership experience
Effective communication and writing skills
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to operate and negotiate independently
Problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR and DFARS
US Persons required
Must be comfortable working onsite 3+ days per week
Ability to travel less than 10%
