About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team performing monitoring reviews, inspections, and program analysis
- Provide task management, technical oversight, coordination, documentation, and review of facility inspections and assessments
- Supervise staff and oversee site assessment activities and pre- and post-monitoring activities
- Develop program logic and evaluate performance measures
- Develop and update program monitoring schedules in accordance with government requirements and established timeframes
- Conduct targeted needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and resource constraints
- Report monitoring activity status and recommendations to federal staff
- Develop training content and materials and assist with training facilitation
- Review monitoring reports, corrective actions, and deliverables before submission
- Track, monitor, and document corrective actions and closure evidence
- Analyze monitoring outputs to identify trends, compliance issues, and operational risks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team execution and delivery
- Support team professional development, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Implement processes and procedures and manage improvement solutions
- Review monthly reports and approve consolidated reports
- Approve timecards, leave requests, proposed travel, and expense reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in a relevant field
- 7 years of related work experience
- At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience
- Progressive project and task management experience with advanced managerial responsibilities
- Proven monitoring and evaluation experience
- Experience monitoring providers serving underserved populations preferred
- Demonstrated quality assurance experience
- Experience delivering oversight to large, cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Existing MBI T2 Public Trust or ability to obtain one
- US citizenship is not required
- Less than 10% travel required
