About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform quality assurance and inspection activities for aerial fiber construction and splicing operations
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, FAA requirements, OSHA regulations, and NESC clearance requirements
- Review OTDR traces
- Validate splice losses and installation quality
- Document deficiencies
- Track corrective actions
- Support project closeout documentation and Government inspections
- Support the Army TEN-M program's telecommunications tower, antenna, and associated technology development, engineering, and safety efforts
- Travel 25% to 50% while working remotely
Requirements
What you’ll need- AAS Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of site QC experience and understanding of the described duties
- 1+ years of related experience
- Experience or knowledge of field services
- OSHA regulations expertise
- OSHA compliance knowledge
- Quality analysis skills
- Secret clearance desired
- Secret clearance must currently be possessed or be able to be obtained
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport
- Ability to travel 25% to 50%
- Certifications: None; OSHA certifications desired
