About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and sustain Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), Provisioning, and Virtual Apps/Desktops in large-scale environments
Engineer and support Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
Automate processes using PowerShell or Python
Perform Tier 3+ troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and optimization of VDI infrastructure
Maintain engineering documentation, processes, and procedures for VDI lifecycle management
Support government activities and secure, reliable virtual desktop environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work/military experience
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience designing, developing, maintaining, and testing desktop virtualization infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, App Layering, and ELM
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployments on Windows Server 2019/2022
Experience with Windows 10/11 SOE, imaging, and evergreen methodologies
Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python
SQL experience
Enterprise networking, cloud, and virtualization architectures experience
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
US Citizenship Required: Yes
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, CWS-215, Managing Modern Desktops, and Azure Virtual Desktop specialty certifications preferred
