About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in developing and executing the company’s compensation strategy, including base salary, bonus, and long-term incentives
- Conduct market research and benchmarking analyses and provide recommendations on compensation trends, best practices, and industry standards
- Support implementation and management of a new compensation system
- Support annual compensation planning, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Partner with People and Finance teams on compensation budgets and forecasts and process equity grants, vesting, and exercise activities
- Collaborate with the Talent team and senior leaders to align compensation and performance management processes
- Advise business leaders on compensation decisions, process milestones, and market developments
- Develop employee communication and educational materials for compensation and equity programs, including offer letters, equity plan documents, and participant guides
- Maintain employee and compensation data in UKG Ready and related systems, run audits, and prepare workforce reports
- Support system implementations and improvements through data preparation, testing, issue tracking, and process documentation
- Coordinate immigration cases with external counsel by collecting documentation, tracking deadlines, and maintaining case records
- Support benefits administration and open enrollment
- Prepare and reconcile compensation changes and one-time payments with Payroll and investigate discrepancies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, compensation consulting, and people operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data and market trends
- Proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools and HRIS systems
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel
- Clear and confident presentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area or Greater New York Metro Area
