About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build event-driven security detections and platform capabilities
Work closely with security and engineering stakeholders to identify relevant signals, enrichments, and decision points
Operate and improve production systems with a focus on observability, performance, reliability, and cost awareness
Own end-to-end delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
Contribute to the long-term evolution of platform architecture and engineering standards
Help evolve Genetec’s internal security platform
Support platforms that manage credentials for employees and services and collect, analyze, and act on security events at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience building and operating production software
Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean design, maintainable code, and testability
Comfortable working across multiple layers of a system, from code to cloud infrastructure
Solid security culture: threat-aware design, least privilege, secure defaults, and practical cryptography
Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written
Experience operating cloud-based systems; Azure preferred but not required
Strong DevOps and automation mindset, including CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure as code
Hands-on experience running production systems, including logs, metrics, incidents, failure modes, and iterative hardening
Experience with event streaming, messaging, or data pipeline architectures
Familiarity with identity standards and protocols: SSH, OIDC, OAuth, PKI, SAML
Exposure to security telemetry, detection logic, or anomaly-based systems
