About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform month-end closing activities
- Handle reporting and consolidations
- Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs
- Review timely execution of controls
- Drive audit deliverables and submit evidence on time
- Produce and review quarterly, annual, and audited statutory financial statements
- Review and post month-end journal entries
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
- Handle the quarterly intercompany process
- Resolve balancing items
- Build customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction
- Lead process update calls with customers when required
- Identify opportunities and recommend process and automation improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance, or Master’s degree in Finance
- Advanced English proficiency (C1)
- Experienced accounting knowledge with closing and reporting experience
- Knowledge of banking and capital markets
- Client relations skills
- Familiarity with collaboration tools
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems
- Experience with reconciliations
- Record to Report (R2R) knowledge
- Regulatory compliance management knowledge
- Risk management knowledge
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
