About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and validate target architecture for Data Agents, including data access patterns, governance, security, and scalability
- Evaluate and design the semantic layer for Borrowers, Investors, Facilities, and Sponsors
- Define and govern cross-dataset relationships within the semantic layer to mitigate hallucination risk
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to guide design and build of initial Phase 1 Data Agents
- Support planning for Phase 2, including Microsoft IQ, Graph capabilities, row-level security, and cross-domain orchestration
- Establish a trusted foundation for analytics and AI consumption
- Shape architecture strategy and execution with enterprise architecture stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep, demonstrated experience in semantic modeling and enterprise data architecture
- Strong background in AI-powered data access and Data Agent design patterns
- Experience with modern data architectures, including data governance, security, and enterprise-scale scalability
- Familiarity with Microsoft data/AI ecosystem, including IQ and Graph capabilities, is a plus for Phase 2 alignment
- Ability to work directly with enterprise architecture stakeholders to shape strategy and execution
- Senior-level architect capable of strategic thought leadership and tactical design/build guidance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master’s degree in Software Engineering
- Microsoft Certified Power Platform certification
- TOGAF 9 Certification
- English required; proficient at C2 level
- Must be based in the United States; Los Angeles, California-based candidates are not eligible
