About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support recruitment and enrollment of incoming students for graduate and executive degree programs, particularly the Master of Science in Management program
- Answer email, telephone, and walk-in inquiries from prospective students
- Implement recruiting outreach and follow-up procedures
- Engage, cultivate, and manage the recruiting pipeline
- Identify opportunities to maximize recruitment for the Master of Science in Management program
- Plan and host on-campus, off-campus, and online information sessions
- Occasionally travel to represent McDonough at recruiting events and fairs
- Serve as the team’s secondary point of contact for admissions operations across graduate and executive degree programs
- Support creation and updates of admissions policies and processes
- Update manuals and materials with policy and process changes
- Manage student records in Ellucian Banner
- Support process flows between Salesforce and Ellucian Banner
- Create dashboards and reports in Salesforce for admissions operations
- Update graduate and executive degree applications annually
- Provide administrative support for meeting and interview scheduling tools
- Onboard new users to the scheduling platform
- Communicate with prospective Master of Science in Management students via email, phone, and in person
- Provide administrative support for student data reporting and meeting scheduling tools
- Report to the Director, Graduate and Executive Degree Programs Admissions and work closely with Assistant and Associate Deans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 3-5 years’ experience within a corporate or university setting required
- Extremely strong interpersonal abilities and strong team orientation required
- Ability to work with prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty, and staff
- Substantial working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Experience in higher education admissions is strongly preferred
- Marketing and events related experience is highly desirable
- Comfort with working in Excel and analyzing data is a plus
- Prior exposure to marketing tasks is a plus
