About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the Director of Academic Affairs in CSS/SSP to provide student advising, registration, and related academic support
  • Support approximately 150-200 of the 550+ SSP graduate students
  • Manage academic records
  • Serve as one of the primary points of contact for GU Experience at SSP
  • Foster a supportive and structured environment that promotes student success and a smooth path toward graduation
  • Report to the Director of Academic Affairs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in academic advising or closely related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service
  • Intercultural communication skills and experience working with diverse student populations are highly desirable
