About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, implement, and provide administrative support for the Graduate & Executive Degree Programs portfolio.
  • Coordinate program activities and support faculty, students, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain program compliance with university policies and accreditation requirements.
  • Build systems and programs.
  • Create and maintain vendor relations.
  • Manage program operations.
  • Plan and execute operations for multiple graduate program offerings serving 500+ students annually.
  • Coordinate with Student Services, Career Services, Admissions, vendors, the Dean’s Office, MSBTC, Finance, the Registrar’s Office, faculty, and campus administrators.
  • Support event planning, contracting, vendor management, and program operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or greater education level is required.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a professional setting managing large volumes of data, meeting critical deadlines, completing projects and collaborating effectively within teams.
  • Strong and effective communication skills for handling multiple communication tasks simultaneously and delivering accurate, informational, directive, and clear information verbally and in writing.
  • Expert use of the Microsoft suite and Google suite, especially MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL, GMAIL, and Google Drive.
  • Ability to understand, work from, and manage financial plans such as program budgets.
  • Ability to monitor, manage, and design large databases such as student rosters and co-curricular calendars.
  • Ability to function independently and with complete discretion when handling confidential, legally protected student information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a small team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of the year to domestic and international locations if necessary.
