About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for multiple experiential law programs
  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple law offices
  • Ensure clinics comply with University policies and liaise with relevant University departments
  • Field and direct inquiries from external stakeholders
  • Support the substantive work of clinics in a paralegal-like role
  • Manage daily clinic office operations, facilities, and communications
  • Support student and fellow recruitment and event logistics
  • Oversee client files and electronic court filings
  • Manage data intake in the Legal Server case management system
  • Handle supply procurement and credit card reconciliations
  • Arrange travel and monitor compliance with University budget policies
  • Coordinate across clinical administrative teams to provide coverage
  • Attend joint staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Interact with clinic faculty, fellows, students, University offices, clients, court or agency officials, prospective fellows, and the public

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • 2–4 years of experience required, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Good working knowledge of PC operation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Experience with Google Suite and working in a remote or hybrid environment is helpful
  • Commitment and ability to learn new programs or systems such as Canvas, Legal Server, and GMS
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team
  • College degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
  • Experience working in a legal office preferred, but not required
