About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for student and family inquiries and issues
  • Provide timely and accurate customer service and assistance
  • Liaise with parents and students and escalate issues to the leadership team as necessary
  • Manage communication with students’ families via phone and email
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff on updates and changes
  • Monitor course waitlists and provide registration updates
  • Oversee timely and accurate completion of required student forms
  • Communicate with campus health and safety partners to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with university departments on Summer Programs projects and initiatives
  • Edit and update the Summer website with the Marketing Team
  • Support the Summer Team during outreach webinars
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including students, families, partner schools, and university partners
  • Report directly to the Lead Parent and Student Service Advisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of customer service experience in a higher education setting
  • Knowledge of the student lifecycle and student information systems is helpful but not required
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be in-person at least two days a week from April 1 through August 31 at a designated SCS campus location
  • May be expected to provide support for student check-ins on weekends in rare circumstances
