About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with development and management of proposals, bids, quotations, and government proposal responses for reselling partners and customers
  • Coordinate proposal timelines, requirements, content collection, reviews, approvals, and submissions
  • Respond to vendor and security questionnaires and documents describing products and services
  • Navigate government procurement portals and ensure submissions meet requirements and deadlines
  • Support proposal-related projects improving processes, tools, resources, and deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate proposal content
  • Support Senior Proposal/RFP Managers on large opportunities
  • Assist with monthly reporting and administrative tasks
  • Manage vendor profiles, due diligence requests, security questionnaires, and small-to-medium proposals
  • Manage end-to-end RFP processes, including templates, kickoff calls, SME engagement, writing, editing, proofreading, finalization, submissions, debriefs, and Salesforce updates
  • Use AI to create work efficiencies and tools to drive velocity
  • Assist RFX team members leading proposals
  • Help train new hires and interns and maintain RFX training materials and manuals
  • Contribute to RFX projects, content creation and updates, and annual team KPAs
  • Support content management by updating and drafting content
  • Contribute to the RFX Quarterly Report and perform administrative tasks
  • Participate in strategic reviews of RFX activities
  • Respond outside core hours during critical periods when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least five years of proposal support or proposal management experience; the requirements section specifies 3–5 years of required previous experience in sales operations or proposal management
  • Experience in sales operations/proposal management
  • Experience working within a technical, SaaS, or engineering organization
  • Experience developing and submitting government proposal responses
  • Experience navigating government procurement portals
  • APMP certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in using AI and quick to adapt to new technologies
  • Strong writing, proofreading, editing, communication, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities and deadlines
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Technical competence with Google Suite for business, Adobe Professional, and AI tools
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and systems such as Jira and Loopio
  • Ability to engage with all levels of the organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort in a flat organization
  • Reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL when working from home
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a background check
