About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical leadership for the development of backend systems and services
  • Define and evolve architectures, including monoliths, microservices, and event-driven systems
  • Develop robust, scalable APIs using REST and/or GraphQL

  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and infrastructure teams
  • Drive technical decisions focused on scalability, performance, and security
  • Support and mentor team developers
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting and resolving critical incidents
  • Influence the technical roadmap and platform evolution
  • Provide technical leadership in building scalable, resilient, high-performance solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electrical/electronics, computer, or software engineering), Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related fields
  • Strong experience in backend development using Java, Node.js, Python, Go, or similar technologies
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs using REST and/or GraphQL
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling for SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of automated testing, including unit, integration, and contract testing
  • Experience with version control using Git and code review practices
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS
  • Experience with containers, including Docker
  • Strong experience as a full-stack developer, particularly in senior-level roles
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as Angular
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining backend web applications using C#
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and SQL Server, as well as non-relational databases such as MongoDB
  • Ability to design and optimize complex database schemas
  • Experience leading development projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, continuous delivery, deployment automation, and cloud infrastructure management
  • Advanced knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue is a plus
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Knowledge of observability, including logs, metrics, and tracing, is a plus
  • Experience with high-volume data and mission-critical systems is a plus
  • Experience with platform engineering practices is a plus
  • Participation in large-scale architecture decisions is a plus
  • Advanced English proficiency is a plus
