About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a technical-functional specialist for TOTVS Protheus ERP 12.1.2410 or later, focusing on the Back Office modules and serving as a liaison between business areas and IT.
  • Handle Level 2 and Level 3 support tickets for Protheus modules by investigating logs, analyzing errors, and escalating issues to TOTVS when necessary.
  • Gather requirements from key users, map processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose technical or functional solutions.
  • Develop and maintain customizations using the Protheus MVC standard, including entry points, triggers, compatibility routines, screens, and reports.
  • Create and manage users, access groups, and routine profiles in the Configurator, ensuring segregation of duties and compliance with security policies.
  • Participate in the design and maintenance of integrations with corporate systems via REST and SOAP, as well as data import and export interfaces.
  • Operate and configure the Fiscal and Accounting modules to meet Brazilian ancillary tax obligations and apply TOTVS regulatory update packages.
  • Write SQL queries for auditing, data extraction, BI dashboards, performance analysis, and data correction.
  • Perform the controlled weekly deployment of updates, new routines, fixes, and reconfigurations across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Ensure traceability, rollback planning, advance communication, and compliance with maintenance windows.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Research and assess new solutions and technologies applicable to the ERP and the business.
  • Contribute to the development and analysis of IT KPIs.
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation for customizations and processes.
  • Lead workshops and solution-design sessions for the ERP.
  • Deliver training to the IT team and key users.
  • Participate in audits covering operating standards, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and information security.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or technologist degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with the TOTVS Protheus ecosystem, with an emphasis on Back Office modules.
  • Proficiency in ADVPL and TLPP, with mastery of the Protheus 12.1.2410 or later MVC standard, including the data dictionary and standard table structure.
  • Proficiency with TOTVS Developer Studio for VS Code (TDS-VSCode) for development, debugging, and RPO management.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for Microsoft SQL Server, including execution-plan analysis and query tuning.
  • Strong functional knowledge of at least three modules: Finance, Purchasing, Inventory and Costs, Billing, Tax, Accounting, Fixed Assets, and TOTVS Tax Automation (TAF).
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web-service integrations, including JSON and XML handling.
  • Basic knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation as applied to ERP systems (EFD-REINF, ECD, ECF, NF-e, and NFS-e).
  • Basic knowledge of LGPD and information security as applied to ERP environments.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
