About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Human Resources Business Partner and Operations team with planning and execution of HR practices, programs, and initiatives
  • Support employment practices, organizational development, employee engagement, recognition, retention, compliance, audits, immigration, work-from-home initiatives, and other HR practices
  • Participate in department and cross-functional project workgroups
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees, managers, and colleagues
  • Manage employee and organizational data in HRIS, including new hires, employee changes, organizational changes, reporting, and metrics analysis
  • Conduct new-hire orientation and onboarding and facilitate offboarding
  • Review, monitor, update, and enhance HR processes, policies, procedures, and SharePoint resources
  • Facilitate and lead quarterly HR audit reviews and processes
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits on practice and process requests and resolutions
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding timekeeping, pay data, time-off policies, and related matters
  • Guide and educate managers, employees, and HR colleagues in the use of Workday
  • Facilitate employment verifications and respond to unemployment and workers’ compensation claims
  • Support compliance and regulatory requirements and processes
  • Coordinate candidate interview scheduling with Talent Acquisition
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant early-career HR, administrative, operations, or coordination experience welcomed
  • One year of experience preferred, but not essential
  • High awareness of and respect for critical and confidential HR data and highly sensitive information
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to work efficiently with minimal direction
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust quickly to shifting priorities and timelines
  • Good judgment and ability to work autonomously while partnering, communicating, and collaborating effectively with global colleagues and stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data management systems and reporting
  • Workday experience is a plus
