About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective and existing customers
  • Work with management and customer coordinators to ensure the correct customer approach
  • Grow the small to medium-sized customer base through exceptional customer experience, fast response times, strategic solutions, and professional account management
  • Manage day-to-day small-account sales, data entry, and lead/opportunity management through Salesforce
  • Participate in lead generation for the sales team
  • Prepare quotes and Customer Service Agreements
  • Work closely with the commercial team to meet customer demand and service requirements
  • Follow health and safety policies and processes
  • Support Operations and other functions to maximize efficiency and customer experience
  • Develop new business through outbound sales calls to inactive and active customers
  • Respond to inquiries about new services
  • Set up new accounts and follow up with Operations to ensure work is executed
  • Assist Account Managers with administrative duties
  • Provide vacation coverage for the Sales Team
  • Support management with sales initiatives and marketing
  • Improve share of wallet and margins through stronger existing-customer relationships
  • Travel may be required
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • OMS and CRM/Salesforce experience would be an asset
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet timelines
  • Valid work authorization in Canada is required
  • No visa sponsorship provided
