About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and enhance strategic market-price platforms

- Handle all development phases from analysis through maintenance, including requirements and implementation
- Establish trusted relationships through proven delivery
- Communicate directly with the Sales/Trading Desk
- Develop and own the next generation of the Markets and pricing trading platform
- Support trading with exchanges and brokers across financial instruments
- Build core components and services using Agile practices, automated CI/CD, and deployment pipelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Core Java
- Spring with microservices
- Designing and building low-latency systems with architecture and publish-subscribe solutions
- Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling: Maven, Jenkins CI/CD, logging and monitoring, troubleshooting
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering of low-latency or real-time systems
- Good command of Linux/UNIX command line interface
- Ability to collaborate with a multicultural, geographically distributed global organization
- Banking-domain knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business and IT stakeholders
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with JMS message-passing systems
- Data-driven optimization, including profiling and metrics collection
- Design-thinking, problem-solving, and ability to develop feasible alternatives and optimal design solutions
