About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end project planning and execution, including scoping, scheduling, resourcing, and milestone tracking
Build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and status reports
Serve as primary contact for external clients and partners
Manage expectations, communicate status, and coordinate delivery timelines
Identify, triage, and resolve project risks, blockers, and technical issues
Facilitate standups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and client check-ins
Translate business and client requirements into structured project plans and engineering tasks
Monitor scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall project health
Maintain project charters, status reports, decision logs, and client-facing materials
Partner with engineering leads to troubleshoot bottlenecks, dependency conflicts, and process gaps
Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement
Lead client-facing status updates, business reviews, and issue-resolution conversations
Gather and document client feedback and requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years (or equivalent experience) managing technical projects, ideally within software development, data platforms, or enterprise IT environments
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Demonstrated troubleshooting ability
Experience working directly with external clients or partners, including managing expectations and difficult conversations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies
Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Comfortable with basic technical concepts including APIs, cloud environments, and data pipelines
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, reporting, analysis, project planning, communication, and delivery workflows
PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus
