About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build modern, responsive, and reusable web interfaces using React and/or Angular.
- Develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Implement business rules and system integrations.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Participate in code reviews, technical refinement sessions, and architecture decisions.
- Work closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Identify and resolve performance, security, and usability issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and developed solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in backend development using Java.
- Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Boot and Spring Data.
- Experience in frontend development using React and/or Angular.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle, and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with automated, unit, and integration testing.
- Knowledge of development best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, and code quality.
- Knowledge of version control with Git.
- Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Knowledge of security principles for web application development.
- Experience implementing business rules, system integrations, and database access.
- Experience participating in code reviews, technical refinement sessions, and solution architecture definition.
- Nice to have: experience with AWS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, and CloudWatch services; Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; microservices and distributed systems; Terraform or AWS CloudFormation; monitoring and observability tools.
