About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and implement applications and microservices using Java 17 or later, ensuring quality, performance, security, and scalability.
Develop microservices using Spring or Quarkus, following development best practices.
Participate in alignment meetings with clients and the team to understand requirements and define solutions.
Develop and integrate services using AWS resources, especially API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and networking services.
Develop and implement messaging solutions using Kafka, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Participate in the modeling and development of relational and non-relational databases.
Perform unit and integration testing.
Document developed code, features, standards, and usage instructions.
Work on end-to-end solution development, from modeling and development through production deployment, monitoring, and solution evolution.
Contribute to DevOps practices, automation, and continuous integration.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior-level professional.
Proven proficiency in Java 17 or later.
Experience developing microservices with Spring or Quarkus.
Solid knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
Experience with Kafka, including the design, development, and implementation of messaging services.
Knowledge of standards and practices for ensuring data integrity.
Solid knowledge of relational database modeling and development, especially PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and Keyspaces.
Proven experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and networking services.
Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps practices, including Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
Experience developing applications with a focus on scalability, availability, and performance.
Knowledge of Python and PySpark is a plus.
