About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop REST APIs and microservices in distributed environments;
- Implement scalable solutions with a focus on performance and security;
- Integrate systems using messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS);
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines;
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to ensure consistent delivery;
- Apply software development best practices, automated testing, and code reviews;
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications in production;
- Contribute to the development and architecture of solutions in distributed environments, focusing on APIs and microservices while promoting collaboration and the adoption of best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud;
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems;
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis);
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes environments;
- Knowledge of Node.js for complementary development and integrations;
- Experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, TDD/BDD);
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
- Preferred: Knowledge of information security applied to APIs;
- Preferred: Experience working in high-availability environments with high transaction volumes;
- Preferred: Participation in technical communities, tech talks, or open-source projects.
