About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical design of the MCP solution.
- Develop and guide the integration of REST/HTTP APIs with MCP servers and tools.
- Provide technical guidance to the team throughout implementation.
- Ensure the solution aligns with the bank’s context and standards.
- Work with authentication, authorization, and session management for business customers, ensuring appropriate limits on data access.
- Conduct code reviews and support the definition and execution of tests.
- Work with CI and observability.
- Apply AI-assisted engineering with human validation.
- Reuse existing components while adhering to the bank’s established standards and architectures.
- Drive the prioritization of a focused MVP.
- Negotiate technical dependencies and support the evolution of the solution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Python for backend service development.
- Experience with Python service architecture.
- Experience integrating REST/HTTP APIs.
- Knowledge of or experience with MCP servers and tools.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and session management.
- Knowledge of data access control for authenticated users.
- Experience with code reviews and testing.
- Knowledge of CI and observability.
- Experience with systems integration in a corporate environment.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guide a team.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering, including human validation processes for AI-generated code.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Experience in banking or corporate environments.
- Experience reusing and integrating existing components in accordance with corporate architectural standards.
- Experience building and prioritizing MVPs.
