About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the creative process from concept through execution for public engagement, community outreach, stakeholder presentations, project branding, digital/social campaigns, and print collateral
  • Develop and maintain visual and verbal brand guidelines
  • Oversee presentation decks, websites, infographics, renderings, event graphics, signage, social/digital content, video/animation, and print materials
  • Manage multiple concurrent creative projects, prioritize workflow, track budgets, and ensure timely delivery and quality control
  • Arrange stakeholder engagement actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials
  • Collect, collate, summarize, and analyze data using established tools and methods
  • Write first drafts of straightforward print and website content
  • Organize and prepare complex documents and special reports
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for public relations and government relations campaigns
  • Identify and report policy, procedure, regulatory, or conduct noncompliance
  • Develop capabilities through training, coaching, conferences, ongoing education, and professional accreditation
  • Develop tactical public relations campaign plans
  • Support external communications systems and advise others
  • Assist senior colleagues with external client and customer relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 7 years of progressive experience in creative services, marketing communications or engagement roles
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, presentation software, and digital/social platforms
  • Familiarity with websites and emerging visualization/engagement tools for public meetings
  • Demonstrated portfolio across digital, print, and event/media channels
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage budgets and timelines
  • Excellent visual design sensibility, storytelling ability, and written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in community/public engagement or stakeholder communications within AEC, infrastructure, or built-environment projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to work with creative teams and technical professionals and translate technical content for public audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of ADA and Section 508 compliance standards
  • Ability to coordinate production of multilingual materials
