About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the planning and delivery of condition assessment projects for infrastructure assets, including pipelines, water/wastewater systems, and related facilities
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams executing field inspections, data collection, technical analyses, and presentations
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
  • Develop and review technical reports covering asset condition, risks, remaining service life, and recommended actions
  • Support asset management strategies, including rehabilitation and capital planning recommendations
  • Act as a key client contact and provide trusted advisory support
  • Contribute to proposals through scope definition, methodology, cost estimation, and work breakdown structures involving technology vendors and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with internal technical specialists and broader GHD teams to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–5 years of experience in engineering, infrastructure, or asset management within a consulting or related environment
  • Experience supporting or delivering condition assessment, asset inspection, or infrastructure evaluation projects
  • Knowledge of asset management principles and lifecycle planning concepts
  • Strong project coordination or project management experience
  • Ability to understand technical data and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong client engagement and relationship management skills
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Water Resource or a related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or working toward it (i.e., EIT) is an asset
