Senior Service Solution Architect – m/f/d

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design tailored service solutions for large, non-standard customer projects during the tender phase
- Develop customer-specific service concepts based on requirements, leveraging standard G+D services wherever possible
- Evaluate third-party supplier offers, maintenance activities, FTE requirements, and material consumption
- Calculate costs for all elements of the defined service scope
- Define service solution pricing using established methodologies, optimizing benefit and risk for G+D in alignment with Service Sales and Solution Units
- Manage cost, risk, and delivery setup from a commercial perspective
- Coordinate closely with key stakeholders such as Service Sales
- Align activities with standard NPI processes and established service concepts
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, or Business
- 10+ years of experience in managed service contracts, with deep knowledge of multi-vendor environments
- 5+ years of experience in international matrix organizations and collaboration with global subsidiaries
- Strong skills in profitability calculations and risk assessments
- Excellent coordination, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record in project management within complex setups
- Ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure
- In-depth knowledge of service concepts and solution design
- Proficiency in data analytics, KPI definition, and performance management
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel internationally
