About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain the home to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and order
Carry out and/or oversee daily and weekly household chores including dusting, tidying, vacuuming, and surface cleaning
Manage laundry, ironing, and the careful handling of delicate fabrics and garments
Monitor and proactively restock household supplies
Coordinate with external cleaning or maintenance personnel as needed
Organise and maintain personal wardrobes
Handle seasonal wardrobe changeovers and storage
Coordinate clothing and accessory care and repairs
Prepare the home for private dinners, gatherings, and events
Assist with event setup and styling
Ensure events run smoothly front-of-house
Complete post-event cleaning and reset
Liaise with caterers, florists, and other vendors
Run household-related errands
Follow up on maintenance issues
Anticipate household needs
Maintain discretion and confidentiality

Requirements

What you’ll need

A hands-on, can-do approach with strong attention to detail
Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in all situations
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Flexible with working hours, including availability on weekends
Comfortable working independently and using initiative
Respectful, warm, and personable — someone who fits naturally into a private home environment
Prior experience in a household, hospitality, or private estate setting (desirable)
Knowledge of garment care and wardrobe management (desirable)
Experience supporting or coordinating private events (desirable)
Familiarity with household inventory and supplier management (desirable)
