About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead day-to-day execution of seasonal and high-volume camp recruitment activities
- Support year-round recruitment, including job postings, applicant communication, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring processes
- Monitor applicant flow and recruitment activity, identify staffing challenges, and adjust sourcing and outreach activities
- Participate in interviews and partner with hiring managers throughout selection
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, workforce development agencies, educational institutions, professional associations, and external partners
- Represent GSWW at career fairs, hiring events, networking opportunities, and community outreach activities
- Support recruitment marketing, outreach initiatives, and employment branding
- Coordinate onboarding activities and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding sessions
- Maintain onboarding materials, resources, and documentation
- Support employee retention, engagement, recognition, wellness, and workplace culture initiatives
- Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and surveys
- Develop training materials, presentations, job aids, and learning resources
- Facilitate training programs, orientations, workshops, and presentations
- Track training participation and maintain related records
- Assist with employee events, feedback efforts, surveys, and engagement assessments
- Contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, racial justice, and belonging initiatives
- Utilize HRIS and other technology platforms for HR operations and reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential records and respond to employee and applicant inquiries
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources, recruiting, workforce development, employee engagement, training, or a related field
- Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or completion of a recognized Human Resources certificate program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience executing full-cycle recruitment and hiring processes, including candidate outreach, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate communication
- Experience coordinating employee onboarding and supporting employee engagement initiatives
- Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, or similar technology systems
- Experience facilitating training, orientations, presentations, workshops, or group learning activities
- Experience coordinating programs, projects, events, or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience building collaborative relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Experience representing an organization through community outreach, recruitment activities, partnership development, public presentations, or similar external-facing activities
- Knowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, racial justice, and belonging
- Strong alignment with Girl Scouts of Western Washington's mission and vision
- Knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices, and employment processes
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills
- Ability to develop training materials, presentations, job aids, and learning resources for adult learners

- Ability to learn and effectively utilize HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and other technology platforms
- Must reside within the Council region of Western Washington
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel across the regional geography
- Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Satisfactory results from criminal background check
- Willingness to maintain Girl Scout membership
- Must be willing and able to come into a Girl Scouts of Western Washington office or alternative work location as needed or when requested
