About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete the platformization journey by migrating existing customers without disrupting alerting channels
Ensure notifier parity and redesign notification delivery for synchronous and asynchronous operation
Build Slack threading and direct messages and enable customizable email templates
Scale GitHub check runs by addressing API rate limits, database load spikes, dedicated Celery queues, and large merge requests
Redesign plan architecture so Product and Sales can assemble offers and activate modules without Engineering intervention
Build OAuth2, public APIs, and integrations with customers’ ASPM ecosystems
Evolve the Django monolith through dependency inversion, typing improvements, and progressive decomposition
Improve self-service onboarding and help workspaces reach their first value moment
Build and improve health-check systems for integrations
Code daily and own end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, technical design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring
Own production outcomes for shipped work
Review peer code, mentor junior engineers, drive quality standards, and contribute to broader platform technical decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in web development
Strong proficiency in Django or another Python web framework such as FastAPI or Flask
Experience building web applications, task orchestration, distributed systems, and managing large data flows
Ability to own a project or feature end-to-end, from scoping through deployment and monitoring
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
Strong proficiency in AI-assisted development workflows
Significant experience with a large monolithic codebase and knowledge of architecture best practices are beneficial but not required
Interest in refactoring and building reliable systems is beneficial but not required
